About @SciaticNerdI'm that kid who was hiding out in the AV room back in grade school. I enjoyed turning the film strips in class when the tone went ::BEEP::
Somewhere along the way the creativity buried deep within lent itself to getting into Information Security. Makes perfect sense, right? Not even. One thing to be proud of is being part of a fantastic team that coordinates BSides San Antonio, a regional information security conference for curious students and professionals, alike! Check out BSidesSATX.com or search for @BSidesSATX for more information about what's coming up! Realizing that our local conference is only one day, we want to help people to connect with other folks who share a common interest. That's what DC726, a quarterly DEFCON group for the new San Antonio area code is all about. It's designed for local groups to get to know one another. Please consider coming and sharing some of the exciting and creative things you've been up to! Another group in town called CoderDojo helps kids learn to code at no cost is worth a look! Their page is CoderDojoCollaborativeSA.org and reach out to see what they're up to! Oh, and I'm a ridiculous Doctor Who fan... In the picture I'm wearing a crocheted Cyberman hat and Jersey. Oh don't make that face... If you're reading this, it's very likely you're just as ridiculous. Did you smile? Hope so. Look forward to seeing how we can next partner, together. |
